We offer an all-day menu of small, larger and sharing plates built around the best seasonal and local ingredients from the land and sea around us – think fresh off the boat Hastings Fish, Pevensey salt marsh lamb, Bexhill beef, Lewes charcuterie, local Sussex cheeses and veg from a small organic farm in Hailsham.
On top of that, we include some star finds from our friends across the Channel – fiery chorizo, creamy burrata di Puglia, top quality Iberico ham and fine cheeses.
Alongside our main menu, we offer a six course tasting menu built around local produce – with optional matched natural wines – which we serve every Friday and Saturday evening.
We cook veg in creative ways, with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options alongside meat and fish.
We change our menu regularly and add specials on a daily basis, with a large number of specials on weekends.
All our dishes are designed for sharing, so order a selection for the table and tuck in – or go your own way if you prefer. Come for a full meal, or drinks and nibbles. Booking recommended but walk-ins very welcome.
We pair our food with an extensive wine list, of more than 120 bottles, focusing on natural, biodynamic, low-intervention and sustainable wines. We also have craft beer, cider and wine on tap.
