Following our latest Grapes & Plates 🍇 & 🍽wine dinner, we’re back with our next one, and we’re looking closer to home for our inspiration… sort of.
Join us with guest host Ben Walgate – the Willy Wonka of English Wine – from Tillingham Wines, a natural and biodynamic winery in Peasmarsh near Rye that is producing the country’s most exciting wines right now.
Sussex wines, local produce & long-haul flavours. Tillingham Wines @ Farmyard. £45 per person. Thursday 6th June from 7pm. Buy tickets online, get in touch, or drop in.
He’ll guide us as we sip our way through their white, rosé and Pinot Noir, naturally sparkling Pét Nats and maybe even a cheeky Pét Nat style cider. All produced totally naturally just down the road in East Sussex.
Each wine will be paired with a course crafted from the best Sussex ingredients, but while the produce will be local, the flavours will be long-haul as we look to Asia and beyond for inspiration to perfectly match these stand-out Sussex wines.

So, that’s six wines and six courses – 6 grapes and 6 plates – as well as the chance to discuss all things wine and learn about natural winemaking in England from Ben Walgate.
£45 per person. Thursday 6th June. Arrive from 7pm for a 7.30pm start. Spaces strictly limited.
Buy tickets online, get in touch, or drop in.
