Boatyard is Farmyard’s sister site – a restaurant and café bar set within the iconic Hastings Contemporary gallery in Hastings Old Town.
It may well have the best view in Hastings, overlooking the historic Hastings fishing fleet on the beach in front of us, as well as the Harbour Arm and East and West Hills and Old Town.
Alongside as-fresh-as-it-comes Hastings fish, landed a stone’s throw away and brought straight to the kitchen, plant-based dishes reign supreme, showing-off the bountiful harvest that Hastings and the surrounding area has to offer. Sea and Shoots.
Decadent brunches are served into the late afternoon on Saturdays and Sundays with everything from Kippers and Kedgeree alongside oysters, constantly-changing specials, fresh juices, Bloody Marys, Espresso Martinis and the option of bottomless fizz.
It is open Tuesday-Sunday and serves coffees, teas, breakfasts, cakes and bites from 11am, and full brunches and lunches alongside an extensive selection of natural and biodynamic wine, local craft beers and cocktails from midday. Boatyard closes at 5pm, with last food orders at 4.15pm – but watch out for evening events and specials!
