Join us on Easter Sunday, 21st April, to celebrate the season with a roast and a knees-up.
We’ll be serving our Sunday Roasts (details here) from midday as usual, along with Rye Bay Scallops, Colchester Rock Oysters and plenty more seasonal treats to start.
Better still are our whole large roasting joints to share (pre-order only) – perfect if you’re bringing the family along. Choose a whole chicken for 2-3 or whole slow-cooked salt marsh lamb shoulder for 4-5.
Served family-style, our roasts are like you’d have them at home, only without having to do it.
Our roasts come with all the trimmings, including cauliflower cheese, roasties, Yorkshire puddings, seasonal local veg and bottomless red wine gravy. We use the finest meat around, ethical, sustainable and delicious, including salt marsh lamb from Pevensey and well-aged beef topside from Bexhill. We also offer a fish roast (straight from the Old Town boats) and a veggie and vegan alternative.
To round things off, expect chocolate in all its forms. Well, it is Easter after all.
